Hi! I'm Janita. I am currently in my final year of Bachelor's in Mathematics. I have been tutoring Mathematics online to students in grade 5 all the way up to Junior year/grade 11. I also work as a contributor at PhotoMath. When you make a deposit to a project, the transfer will be frozen until the project is completed. The student will not be able to withdraw any money form the project until you have marked the project as complete.
We collect the money upfront to ensure the students get paid for their work. And we freeze the transfer until the project is complete to ensure the work gets done.
